University Teacher Training scholarships – FPU 2025

The Aerospace Engineering UC3M at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid invites expressions of interest from outstanding candidates to apply for a PhD position funded by the Spanish FPU (Formación de Profesorado Universitario) 2025 call, recently published by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The FPU programme provides up to four years of full-time doctoral funding (up to six years for candidates with a recognised disability), with a minimum gross annual salary of €25,116, as well as support for research stays at international institutions.

Eligible candidates must meet the official FPU requirements, including holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree that provides access to a PhD programme at a Spanish university.

The application deadline for the FPU call is 14 February 2026 (14:00 CET).
