The Aircraft Operations Lab UC3M is currently seeking a Scientific Management and Coordination professional to join the REFMAP project team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing, justifying, and designing national and international research projects, although profiles with high potential and no experience may also be considered.
- The position will require the candidate to coordinate the research work of the group and its relationship with the Research Service of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). This involves supporting and advising research staff, liaising with research centres and university units, assisting in the preparation of proposals, managing funds for the promotion of international research projects, organising meetings, seminars and training days, and managing and coordinating the research work of the group.
- The candidate will lead the preparation of Grant Agreements and Consortium Agreements for the European projects coordinated by the research group, prepare deliverables for the management of European projects, organise and participate in the meetings with the European Commission and in the internal coordination meetings with the consortium partners. She/he will also prepare management and financial reports and liaise between UC3M and the European Commission through the different platforms provided for this purpose.
- Administrative tasks for the position require experience in managing the acquisition of equipment, consumables, and travel arrangements related to the group’s national and international projects, along with justifying these expenses.
- The candidate must have proven management experience and strong spoken and written English skills. While experience in managing international research projects, particularly coordinated projects, is desirable, candidates without experience may also be considered.
