Eduardo Andrés Endériz, one of our UC3M Aircraft Operations Lab PhD students, today defended his doctoral thesis, entitled “Aircraft Trajectory Planning Considering Ensemble Forecasting of Thunderstorms”. A thesis directed by UC3M professors Manuel Soler and Manuel Sanjurjo Rivo and by EPFL professor Maryam Kamgarpour, which was successfully presented at the Carlos III University of Madrid.
Eduardo says the PhD has been a truly challenging and rewarding experience: “It has allowed me to learn about state-of-the-art topics, travel to different countries and meet outstanding researchers”.
