Fundación ENAIRE announces its annual awards for the aeronautical sector

Fundación ENAIRE organises its annual Aeronautical Awards, an initiative with the goal of recognising research, innovation and communication in air transport. This year, they have included a new category: the Space Award. These are the five categories:

  • Space Prize: An award in recognition of innovative work in the application of space technology for air and space mobility.
  • Aeronautical Innovation Award (Luis Azcárraga) to works, studies or projects, published in 2022 in the official languages of Spain or in English, that make a unique and practical contribution to planning and organisation, economic and administrative management, environmental impact and preservation, or technological research and innovation in the field of air transport.
  • Final Degree or Final Master’s Degree Award (José Ramón López Villares) for Final Degree and Final Master’s Degree projects in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering that have been carried out on air navigation or airports in any Spanish university.
  • I+Dron Award for works, studies, projects, articles, technical publications, etc., that constitute a unique contribution to innovation in the drone sector, in the fields of aircraft design and systems technologies (including propulsion, communications, control, etc.), production, operation, drone traffic management, as well as the development of new applications.
  • Aeronautical Journalism Award for journalistic works related to air transport, air navigation, airport facilities and services in general.

The deadline for submitting applications is 31 May.
