One of the main challenges for the aerospace sector is to achieve a sustainable future for global air traffic. This is stated in the 2030 Agenda, whose Sustainable Development Goal 13 seeks to take urgent action to combat climate change and its effects. Key to achieving this is mitigating the climate change impacts of the aerospace sector.
How much would it cost to mitigate climate change emissions (CO2 and Non-CO2) through climate-efficient flight plans?
Tomorrow, March 1st, we will be taking a closer look at this interesting topic at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), in a seminar that will bring together students and professionals from the scientific world and industry to present the most promising strategies for mitigating the negative impact of aviation.
