PhD Aerospace Engineering Doctoral Meetings 2025

Last week, the PhD students from the Aircraft Operations Lab at UC3M participated in the PhD Aerospace Engineering Doctoral Meetings 2025, held at the Salón de Grados of Carlos III University of Madrid.

These annual meetings offer a unique platform for our PhD students to showcase their research, engage in scientific discussion, and exchange ideas with peers and faculty. The sessions are organized thematically to encourage focused and productive dialogue across key areas of aerospace engineering.

On June 3rd and 4th, our students presented a range of innovative work in the field of aircraft operations, covering topics such as different methods to reduce the climate impact of aviation, commercial formation flight, or intelligent meteorological technologies. The event featured a mix of technical presentations, poster sessions, and informal networking opportunities that fostered valuable academic interaction.

We thank all participants for their insightful contributions and enthusiasm, which made for a successful and stimulating start to this year’s meetings.
