The Aircraft Operations Lab at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is inviting expressions of interest for three postdoctoral researcher positions within our María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence.
Funded through the María de Maeztu programme awarded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación, these positions offer an excellent opportunity for researchers looking to build and consolidate their research career in Aerospace Engineering within an international and research-intensive environment.
The positions are open to researchers across all areas of Aerospace Engineering, including topics in our Lab such as aircraft operations, sustainable aviation, optimisation, control and artificial intelligence.
What we offer
- 3.5-year contract
- Intended start: January 2027
- Gross salary: €40,000–€45,000/year
- Research start-up package: up to €8,000/year to cover expenses for equipment, travel, consumables and open-access publications
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their own research programme, collaborate internationally and contribute to an ambitious research community working on the future of aviation and aerospace.
