European Mobility Week: ‘Artificial Intelligence for More Efficient Logistics’

The Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) in collaboration with the Asociación Empresarial Leganés Tecnológico organise the event “10 UC3M R&D&I Challenges to innovate together” in its fourth edition, as part of European Mobility Week. The event is aligned with working towards the Sustainable Development Goals to address the most relevant challenges in open innovation, through the multidisciplinary collaboration of experts in different areas of knowledge.

One of the 10 R&D&I challenges is “Artificial Intelligence for More Efficient Logistics“, which aims to discuss how to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of companies and, at the same time, respond to the demands that globalization, smart cities or the commitment to sustainability pose to our society today.

The event will feature prominent experts, both from UC3M and the business sector, who will discuss advances in the field of logistics, with a special focus on aviation. Among the speakers is Manuel Soler, researcher from UC3M’s Aerospace Engineering group and coordinator of the Aircraft Operations Lab, who will share insights into the prediction of air traffic, meteorological phenomena, and climate impact. The program includes panel discussions and colloquia moderated by the journalist Sandra Viñas, journalist at Disruptores+ Innovadores (El Español), ensuring an informative and enriching discussion.
