On November 27 to 30 we attended the SESAR Innovation Days 2023 at the University of Seville featuring two standout projects from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid’s Aircraft Operations Lab—E-CONTRAIL and KAIROS.
Driving commitment to the near future of green aviation through E-CONTRAIL
Under the UC3M’s coordination, E-CONTRAIL showcased its commitment to sustainable aviation in Europe. The participation included a project poster and teaser video produced by our team, and the event provided an opportunity for collaboration and networking between ours and other projects in the SESAR ecosystem.
Amplifying the impact of KAIROS in the ATM community
As consortium member of KAIROS and responsible for the Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Work Package, the UC3M celebrated a significant achievement at the SESAR Innovation Days, since the KAIROS poster was selected as favourite by the audience in the poster competition organized by the SESAR Joint Undertaking. KAIROS, focused on AI-based weather forecasting, not only increased its outreach, but also used the opportunity to connect with stakeholders and engage in insightful discussions.
As SESAR Innovation Days 2023 concludes, the Aircraft Operations Lab remains dedicated to shaping a sustainable and technologically advanced future for air travel.
