The State Research Agency (AEI – Agencia Estatal de Investigación) has announced the FPU 2026 grants to support doctoral research and university teaching training in Spain.
Candidates with a strong academic record (a grade of approximately 80% or higher in their bachelor’s and/or master’s degree) are encouraged to explore research opportunities at the Aircraft Operations Lab and identify potential supervisors whose research interests align with their own.
These grants fund predoctoral contracts for up to four years, supporting doctoral studies, research training, and the development of university teaching skills. They may also provide opportunities for research stays at national or international institutions.
